- Circles: A Concert & Visual Arts Showcase Featuring the talents of the Lafayette Ward Members & Friends. Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2369 Overlook Drive, Walnut Creek, CA, October 8, 7pm.
- Advanced Ennaagram: Deepening Insight, Saturday October 1, 9am-4pm San Damiano Retreat, Danville. Maurice Monnette will lead this retreat, helping participants to identify where they are on their spiritual path and what will help them advance. Contact 925-837-9141

- Holy Convergence: An Interfaith Festival, Sunday October 2, 2-5pm, Peace Lutheran Church, 3201 Camino Tassajara, Danville. Join other faith communities to celebrate the synchronicity of Rosh Hoshana, Ramadan, Day of St. Francis and World Communion Sunday. There will be music, food, booths and fellowship. - Dear Sudan Candlelight Vigil, Sunday October 9, 6:30pm, Oak Hill Park, 3005 Stone Valley Rd. Danville. Join in this gathering to mourn the 400,000 people who have died in Sudan, and to raise the consciousness of this ongoing heinous crime. Contact Marilyn Hirsch 925-939-7218.
- Creating Unexpected Pathways to Peace St. Timothy's Episcopal Church, Danville, CA 925-837-4493, October 15th 9:00 am to 3:00pm
- Spirituality and Health Dialogue 2005, Wednesday, October 19, 9pm-4pm, Centre Concord, 5287 Clayton Rd., Concord, Presenters at this event will speak on shamanic healing, reikl, yoga, compassionate touch, Heart Math®, prayer and meditation, guided imagery and art therapy. - Health-Interfaith Partnership Open House, October 20, 3:30-6pm, 917 Alhambra Ave, Suite B Martinez, HIP's mission is to increase health access for communities by creating networks with health care providers and empowering faith organizations to do health outreach. - UN 60th Anniversary East Bay Celebration, October 23, 12-5pm, Jack London Square, Oakland. Starting with a Parade of Nations, this event will feature panel discussions, music, dancing, songs, family activities, demonstrations and films.
